Utopia goes Underground! Hop on the orange train with Utopia Chamber Choir on Friday evening on the 10th of March and enjoy gorgeous music underground. How does live a cappella sound in the newly opened beautiful tube stations west of Matinkylä? How do the acoustics work amidst the rugged stone vaults and how does classical music soar in the middle of rush hour?
Come and enjoy a unique mobile concert at the new tube stations from Matinkylä to Kivenlahti, you are in for yet another Utopian musical experience!
We kindly ask that the audience join us at the Matinkylä tube station at 6 pm. Your only entrance ticket is a valid tube ticket. J The musical journey will last approximately 1.5 hours.
The programme comprises some serious ear candy: from the most exquisite renaissance to Ravel and Rheinberger, from Bach to Beatles, swing and so on – don’t miss this surprising musical adventure!
